An average of 4,500 children die every year due to having no other option but to drink this unsafe water. Rural families spend more than 30 minutes walking to collect the (unsafe) water their families need, taking time away from work and school. Urban people living in poverty pay as much as 22 percent of their income to access (unsafe) water from water vendors.

The Vision

Through partnerships with other nonprofit organizations, we are able to purchase microbial filters to ensure the drinking water is as clean as possible. In addition, we strive to educate families about water-borne illness prevention and clean hygiene practices.

Under the management of several trained water engineers, we have drilled more than 100 wells and counting. Each well supplies a clean water source to an average of 1,000 people.

It costs approximately $3,700 USD to drill each 150-ft. water well, which is a low cost standard compared to other areas of Uganda.

We invite you to learn more and partner with us to help thousands of people receive access to clean water and give them the same rights and dignity that so many other countries have.
